Accomplished clarinetist and esteemed educator Amy Chambers has recently joined the KHS America Academic Alliance affiliated educators roster, representing Jupiter Band Instruments. With her extensive experience and deep passion for enhancing the quality of music education, Chambers brings a wealth of knowledge and inspiration to KHS.

Amy specializes in teaching bass clarinet and clarinet, offering both online and in person lessons from her Collierville, TN studio. Her students are known for securing top chairs at district, All-State, and college auditions. Known for her exceptional performances and commitment to fostering young talent, Amy will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative educational programs and offering valuable insights into clarinet instruction.

Chambers is an avid supporter of Jupiter Clarinets, stating “When I first tried the Jupiter Performance Level 1100 series clarinet, I was amazed by how easy it was to play, and I ended up buying one for myself. The upper registers speak cleanly and it plays evenly and in-tune throughout the entire range. I also love the alternate Eb/Ab lever, which makes tricky passages easier. For advancing clarinet students, the Jupiter 1100s is my first choice.”

Outside of teaching, Amy performs frequently in the Memphis area and serves as a guest clinician at schools and universities across the Mid-South. Additionally, she consults for small music businesses and private teachers, helping them connect with their ideal students and clients.
