Jacob See
Carson-Newman University, Black Oak Brass Quintet
Mr. Jacob See is an active performer and educator based in Knoxville, TN. He performs with a variety of ensembles on a regular basis. Mr. See can be seen with the Southern Stars Symphonic Brass Band, a British style brass band located in Crossville, TN as Principal B-flat bass and with the Black Oak Brass Quintet located in Knoxville, TN. Jacob can also be heard performing as a substitute with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra and with various ensembles across Tennessee. As an educator, he can be found teaching a large studio of tuba and euphonium students within the greater Knoxville region with students often placing highly within regional competitions and honor bands. Currently, he is the Adjunct Instructor of Tuba at Carson-Newman University, a position he has held since 2014.
