• BIO

  I started playing music at the age of four by playing a piano and started playing clarinet at the age of 13. I graduated from Deokwon Arts High School and Chugai University of Arts. Starting with the Buam Art Hall Young Artist Solo Concert (woodwind quintet), I gained experience in performing as a solo with Symphony Orchestra of the Chugye National University of Arts, Wind Orchestra of the Chugye National University of Arts, and Sejong University Amateur Orchestra. I have won prizes at various part of competitions such as the Music Journal Competition and Brahms International Competition. I have established Nam's Clarinet Academy, and have became Korea's first clarinet YouTuber. Being a YouTuber, I have got attention by presenting clarinet lesson videos and performance videos. Furthermore, I am also working to popularize clarinet through various appearances on ‘TBS’ radio stations. Also trying to show the charm of clarinet ensemble through J.T Clarinet quartet.
