Jorge Doudement Quartet, PADUO Group
Jorge Doudement is a saxophonist, producer and composer. He began his musical studies and his musical career in Fortaleza/CE (Brazil). Jorge Doudement is one of the youngest leaders of Brazilian instrumental music, currently at 27 years old. He also participates as a sideman and has been a prominent soloist in the groups he participates in. At the age of 16, he began making his first professional recordings and in these works he recorded and played alongside great names in Brazilian and world music such as Osmar Milito, Luciano Franco, Arismar do Espirito Santo, Roberto Menescal, David Kikoski, Rosa Passos. His first JAZZ album is called REBEL SETEMBER where he played unreleased arrangements of great instrumental jazz classics. His second album released in 2021 is called É BRASIL PAl, a duo album with the instrumentalist composer Stenio Gonçalves. Also participating as a sideman, Jorge has been a prominent soloist in the groups he is part of and performs in major venues in the city where he lives, in Brazil and abroad. He has performed and participated in major festivals in several European countries. Currently with five albums released, Jorge is constantly productive and always releases something new every year.
