Brad Snow

Missouri State University Band

• BIO

  Dr. Snow serves Missouri State University as Director of Bands where he conducts the MSU Wind Ensemble and directs the PRIDE Marching Band. As Director of Bands, Dr. Snow leads the graduate wind band conducting program, instructs graduate level courses, and administers all aspects of the band program.

  Prior to Missouri State, he served as Director of Bands at the University of Missouri, Associate Director of Bands at Oklahoma State University and Assistant Director of Bands at the University of Southern Mississippi.

  Snow has also served our country as a member of the United States Marine Band at Quantico, VA where he led the Marine Corps’ premier brass quintet and served as assistant conductor of the concert and ceremonial bands. He was the recipient of numerous military honors and awards, including being named finalist for the Marine Corps Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year award and a two-time recipient of the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.

  Snow is in demand as a conductor, clinician, and adjudicator throughout the United States. Notable achievements have included leading performances in Northern Ireland, performing as part of the opening ceremonies of the International Trumpet Guild conference in Manchester, England, guest conductor of La banda dell’esercito, the Italian Army Band, in Rome, Italy.

  Dr. Snow has coordinated mass band performances for the Gator Bowl, the Citrus Bowl, the Alamo Bowl, and the Sugar Bowl.
