KHS America and Jupiter Band Instruments, a leading supplier of musical instruments, is excited to announce Washington Jr. High School in Bentonville, AR as the winner of our 2020 Tuba Sweepstakes, and the proud new owner of a Jupiter JTU1110 tuba. More than 2,000 music educators across the United States completed a short survey regarding how they were teaching during the pandemic and were automatically entered into the sweepstakes. After picking a winner at random, Jupiter low brass artist Pat Sheridan announced the winner live on
Jupiter’s Facebook page. Pat was very influential in providing feedback during the development of our best-selling JTU1110 tuba and was excited to be involved in this live announcement.
Washington Jr. High School Band Director, Jared Jones, was thrilled with winning this instrument, stating “Thank you so very much! We are excited to put this beautiful instrument into the hands of one of our hardworking, talented students!”
Kevin Criblez, Business Development Manager for Arkansas, said “Just imagine, to work for a team that is able to continue to support what we love to do most and to continue to support music education”, adding “since this is the first time anything like this has happened in my territory, I am so excited for your program as if I just won something as well.”
