Recently, Tabor Stamper, President of KHS America, parent company of Jupiter Band instruments, represented the Give a Note Foundation during a visit to Antioch High School in Nashville, TN to discuss excellence in music education and the value of a supportive community.  Stamper, who serves as president of the Give a Note Foundation, presented a $1,000 check on behalf of the foundation to the High School.

KHS America is proud to support the Give a Note Foundation in its goal to connect business and community leaders for support of music education for every child.  Through strategic partnerships and national campaigns, Give a Note is helping to raise awareness and providing support to many educator programs across the nation.

Antioch High School is one of five schools to be honored on the “Music in Our Schools” tour and was specially selected by the Give a Note Foundation, in partnership with NAfME and Tennessee Music Education Association leaders. Each school on the tour is recognized for the outstanding achievements of their music programs and for the important role music education plays in their students’ daily curriculum.

Those in attendance at the event were treated to performances by the Antioch HS wind ensemble and a special performance by Season 4 winner of “The Voice”:  Danielle Bradbery, who performed her hit song “The Heart of Dixie.”
