Bio:

Tom's musical career began as a fifth grade clarinetist. Junior high school saw a move to alto sax, then to tenor sax. True to his roots, he switched back to clarinet as a college major, but continued with saxophone performance. A four-year stint in the 581st Air Force Band interrupted his teaching career early on.  Back in the world of education (for 33 years) he found time to play in church orchestras/ensembles, a "retro-rock" band, pit bands and community concert bands.  As a one-time retail music store owner/manager,  he continues a performance schedule along with a continuing operation of a local band instrument repair facility.
